Rosendal Chardonnay Barony Rosslyng 2017

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to a very special white wine. It is a smooth and light wine that has only matured for ten months. This pure Chardonnay from Rosendal is called "Barony Rosslyng".

The young and fresh wine has a light, almost straw-golden colour. It has a seductive green lustre in the glass. The flavour of Barony Rosslyng is convincing with aromas of pineapple and notes of apricot blossom.

Fresh drops of lime mingle with light oak tones and lie gently on the nose. Exotic flavours ultimately lead the wine to the palate with a creamy juiciness and a gentle finish.

A light and fine white wine from Rosendal

This single-varietal wine is made from 100 per cent Chardonnay. Naturally, these grapes are also processed very gently. They are collected by hand and transported to the wine cellar in special containers.

There they are immediately de-stemmed and crushed into fruit puree. After adding industrial yeast, the wine ferments in French oak barrels. This oak flavour also gently resonates in the wine.

This delicate wine can be served wonderfully with light cheese, tender poultry or fish dishes such as salmon. But this wine is also perfect with some fruit for a light afternoon snack in the summer sun.
