At this point, however, we would like to recommend an extra high-quality and limited edition wine, the Reserve Vexator. The name "Reserve" alone indicates that this is a mature and noble wine. The Reserve Vexator is perfect for lovers of dark and sensual red wines.

And this Reserve Vexator is something very special for other reasons too! Only seven barrels of this wine are produced each year.

Sensual, dark and mysterious - the Reserve Vexator from Rosendal

This noble red is indeed an absolute highlight on the wine shelf and a must for fans of full-bodied red wines. This blend of fine Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc has a sensual, luscious flavour and a rich bouquet.

The Reserve Vextor has the juicy flavours of dark berries without developing an overly dominant fruitiness. Spicy notes and tasty tannins ensure a pleasant balance with every sip.

Dominant blackberry, blackcurrant and base notes of tobacco with dusty cocoa combine perfectly here. On the palate, the wine is complex yet smooth with a soft structure and a long, balanced finish.

Gentle processing for the best result

For this exquisite wine, special care is naturally taken at every step of the production process. The grapes are harvested by hand and transported to the wine cellar in special containers.

They are de-stemmed and crushed in the wine cellar. The first storage takes place in stainless steel barrels. High-quality industrial yeast strains are then added to the must and fermentation begins in open vats.

The must is processed every six hours and the temperature is kept at a warm 28 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius. The final maturation lasts 24 months and takes place in French oak barrels. The wine is filtered before bottling.
