The winery is located in Koringberg, Swartland in South Africa and has been producing exclusive red wines with a seductive flavour and matured in barrels since 2009. The red wine shimmers elegantly and seduces at first sight.
A unique flavour experience can already be anticipated, as the bouquet reveals a characteristic harmony of dark berries and spicy white pepper. A floral touch can also be recognised.
The Wildehurst vineyard is located in the middle of hilly wheat fields within the town of the same name. The area is known for its high-quality, fruit-orientated wines, which is also due to the many hours of sunshine and the maritime climate.
The boutique winery has two series - the Velo series and the Wildehurst series, which is complex and delivers a breathtaking flavour. Grapes of the highest quality are reflected in the Wildehurst Red 2014.
The Wildehurst Red grapes are processed with expertise before the red wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels to develop its full flavour. The result of the gentle cultivation method is a wine that is hand-picked and has an intense flavour.
The unique production method at the Wildehurst winery is based on stone-draught amphorae used in the winemaking process.
The grapes are harvested by hand. You can enjoy the wine relaxed and without a guilty conscience, as the winery is a member of the Swartland Independent Producers.
