The Veritas Award is the most important and prestigious competition for all South African winemakers. This award was established in 1991 and is the oldest badge to be awarded. The quality symbol is a guideline for all wine connoisseurs & wine lovers. For the wine industry, the gold award is of considerable value.

A reliable wine guide and a descriptive chronicle - the "Who's Who" of the South African wine scene, so to speak. The Platter's Guide is the undisputed market leader for wine lovers who value it as a reference work on all things wine. This wine guide is also one of the most established wine books, published once a year.

Michelangelo International Wine & Spirit Award

The South African Michelangelo Beverage Competition was founded in 1997. To date, it has developed into a leading competition that is judged by panels of international judges and wine experts from seven continents. Stylish Michelangelo stickers adorn the bottles to emphasise the quality of the contents.

International Wine Challenge

This William Reed Business Media competition has been running for 36 years and is one of the most meticulous, best and most recognised wine competitions in the world. Wines are judged on style of region and vintage. Each medal-winning wine undergoes a rigorous evaluation process and is tasted 3 times by a total of 12 judges. The awards include great prizes and medals, such as trophies, gold, silver and bronze.

NWC national Challenge

In this South African challenge, winning wines are selected according to blend and variety. Medals are awarded for top wines.
The award categories are: Grand Cru 1st Place, Double Platinum, Double Gold and Double Silver. This recognises the elite wines with the highest number of points, made up of the Top 100 wines = Top 100 SA Wines 2018.
