Rosendal Chenin Blanc 2021

The grapes were grown in the renowned Swartland region, where the conditions resulted in highly concentrated and flavourful grapes.

These grapes were harvested in the early hours of the morning at cool temperatures and had 8 to 10 hours of skin contact after pressing. Enzymes were used to extract the flavours from the skins. An aromatic yeast was added to the juice and it was left to ferment dry. The wine remained on the lees for 8 months before being drawn off, filtered and bottled.

The Rosendal Chenin has a bright golden-green colour, pleasant peach and fragrant floral notes. The palate reveals flavours of melon, pineapple and tropical fruit, underpinned by a refreshing minerality. The wine is crisp and refreshing with a pleasant finish.

Serve it chilled as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to crisp summer salads, poultry or grilled meat.
