With the Leopard's Eye, we have an exclusive red wine that lives up to its name. It comes from the traditional Rosendal wine estate in the climatically favoured Western Cape of South Africa. It is not without reason that Rosendal is one of our most important trading partners and we at Kapvinum are proud that these outstanding wines are exclusively available from us in Germany.

The Leopard's Eye is a perfect addition to the repertoire of our best red wines with its perfect flavour and the highest quality of its ingredients. It confidently presents its unique characteristics as an excellent Bordeaux blend with an outstanding proportion of Merlot (43%).

On the nose, it reveals itself with a seductive bouquet of herbaceous notes and the irresistible aroma of mulberry, before pampering the palate with a rich, distinctly juicy fruit flavour. No question, the Leopard's Eye leaves you wanting more!

The Leopard's Eye - a powerful blend

The special combination of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and a little Petit Verdot give the Leopard's Eye its unique, spirited character, which is already recognisable from its dark, deep red colour.

This intense colour and the exceptionally good aroma are due to the optimal growing conditions and the loving work of the winegrowers, who have put all their experience into this noble wine.

Only the best soils, an ideal climate and the outstanding quality of a traditional family business are just good enough for this full-bodied wine. Leopard's Eye is simply top quality, from cultivation to processing.

Its balanced structure and fine tannins make this wonderful red wine very suitable for ageing. But you can already enjoy it wonderfully with a juicy steak or lamb dish.
